Accessibility Statement.

Our commitment

Expert Ease Training is a people-development company, and accessibility matters to us for the same reason our work does: development should be open to people from different backgrounds and starting points. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, and to take part in our programmes.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We are not yet in a position to claim full conformance, because this site has not been through a formal external accessibility audit. The known gaps are listed below.

What we have done

• Built pages with semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate structure.
• Made navigation, menus and interactive controls operable by keyboard, with visible focus.
• Respected the operating-system “reduce motion” setting: animation, scroll effects and moving strips are disabled for visitors who ask for reduced motion.
• Used a responsive layout that reflows on small screens and on zoom.
• Written descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and marked decorative graphics so they are skipped.
• Set the page language, and given pages descriptive titles.
• Added a “skip to main content” link at the top of every page so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the navigation.
• Given every form field a visible label, and every image a set width and height so the layout does not shift while a page loads.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following, and are working on them:

• The site has not yet been formally audited or tested with a full range of assistive technologies, so there may be issues we have not found.
• Some sections use scroll-linked or sticky layouts. These respect the reduced-motion setting, but may still be harder to use for some visitors.
• Documents we make available for download, such as brochures, may not be fully accessible. If you need one in a different format, ask us and we will provide it.
• Carousels and the moving logo strip pause when you hover over or focus them, and stop entirely when reduced motion is requested, but they do not yet have a separate pause button.
• Some small coral accent text, and a few heading levels that are not strictly sequential, fall short of best practice. We are reviewing these.

Reasonable adjustments in our programmes

If you or a participant need an adjustment to take part in a session (materials in a different format, captions, a change of pace, breaks, or something else), tell us when you book, or at any point afterwards. We will work with you to arrange it.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 27 July 2026 and updated on 3 September 2026, based on internal reviews of the website. It has not been supported by an external audit. We will update it as we make improvements and as testing is completed.
